Nancy L. Reichstadt Obituary

Reichstadt Nancy L., age 57, of Brooklyn Park, died at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 21 after a courageous 5½ year battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her stepfather and mother, Jerry and Caroline Hatcher. Survived by her husband, Melvin; sons, Paul (Lynn) of Champlin and Troy (Heather) of Ramsey; daughter, Beth Markley (Jim) of Parker, CO; brother, Michael Hatcher; and nine grandchildren. Nancy worked for the Green Giant Company in Le Sueur, MN for several years and later the Pillsbury Company in Minneapolis from which she retired in 1999. Nancy enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and going up north to the family cabin, but her greatest enjoyment came when she was with her family and friends during the holidays and special occasions. The family would like to thank the Park Nicollet Oncology Dept. and the Methodist Hospital Hospice for the excellent care and support they gave Nancy during her treatment. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, March 2 at the Lutheran Church of the Master, 1200 69th Ave. No., Brooklyn Center, 763-561-5852. Memorials preferred to the Methodist Hospital Hospice, the Lutheran Church of the Master, or the donors choice.
