Barnes Muriel May (Mickey), age 78, of Long Lake. Preceded in death by sister, Ardella. Survived by her sons, Stephen (Gloria) Short of Apple Valley and Donald Short (Marcie Torgerson) of Brooklyn Park; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jenell; great-grandchild, Nevaeh; nieces, Connie & Sharon; great-niece, Madeline; special K-9 grandchildren, Dakota & change; loving companion, William Tumbleson of Watsonville, CA whom she met on their "Love Boat", an Alaskan cruise shortly after her retirement. Prior to her retirement, she managed "Mickey's Oasis" on the golf course of the Wayzata Country Club. Mickey was a member of VFW Post #6690 in Mendota and American Legion Post #118 in Wayzata. She crocheted may items for donation to the Ronald McDonald house, Veterans Hospital and State Bank of Long Lake. She loved helping people and traveling to and from CA.
