Muriel Lindblad Obituary

Lindblad Muriel, age 84, a long-time resident of Brooklyn Center, passed away the morning of February 16 at Coloniel Acres Home in Golden Valley. She was the daughter of Lars and Olive Havdahl. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lindblad. Muriel is survived by daughters, Barbara (Steven) Sorbel of Plymouth, Sandra Lindblad of Becker, Debra (Fred) Almer of Marshall; grandchildren, Brian Sorbel, Valerie Wellnitz, Kevin Almer, Jennifer Gfroerer and Megan Gfroerer; great-grandchildren, Andrew Gfroerer and Annabelle Wellnitz; sister-in-spirit, Shirley Ridge, cousins, nieces, nephews and many long-time friends. Muriel was a dietitian for the Brooklyn Center School District and a long-time member of Hope Lutheran Church. She was generous with her time and talents. Muriel enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She left us with many happy memories to cherish forever. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all. Special thanks to the staff of Colonial Acres for 18 months of loving care shown to Muriel and her entire family. Private services held Tuesday.
