Gast Mitchell E. Gast, age 38, of New Hope, suddenly. Survived by loving wife, Robin; daughters, Sophie and Allison; parents, Melvin & Wanda Gast; sister, Michele Erding (Jon); nephew, Tyler and niece, Tasha; aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and relatives. President of Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation. Member of House of Hope Board of Finance. Graduate of Hamline University. Employed by Human Resource Guidance LLC (Baune Dosen). He will be remembered for his love of cooking, gardening, family and friends. Funeral service Saturday, 11 am, House of Hope Lutheran Church, 4800 Boone Ave N., New Hope. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service at church and Friday, 4-8 pm at: Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 5000 W 50th & Hwy 100 952-920-3996
