Riippa Miriam S., age 73, of Richfield, passed away March 21, 2002. Longtime employee of Richfield Public Schools. Miriam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Jillian. Survived by husband, Jim; children, Gayle Riippa, Mike (Thea) Riippa, Alen (Laurel) Riippa and Glenn (Linda) Riippa; grandchildren, Mike (Heather), Kristina, Patricia, Ann, Kyle, Nick, John and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Holden and Benjamin; sisters, Lillian Turkula and Elvie (Alvin) Saralampi. Services Tuesday, 1 pm, Transfiguration Lutheran Church, 11000 France Ave S, Bloomington. Private interment. Visitation Monday, 5-8 pm, at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S.
