Minnie Johnson Coggin Obituary

Coggin Minnie Johnson Coggin, age 79, passed away in Minneapolis on Tuesday, August 13, 2002. She was the daughter of Napolean Bonaparte and Lois Tinsley Johnson of Leary, GA. Minnie was preceded in death by her only sibling, Lois Wiley. Minnie is survived by her son, J. Thomas Coggin, Jr. and wife Lee of Atlanta; son, Charles T. Coggin and wife Diana of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Scott T. Coggin and Matthew C. Coggin of Atlanta, and Kara E. Coggin and Terrence G. Coggin of Plymouth; nephews, Billy Cordell of Donalsonville, GA and Edward Wiley of Panama City, FL, and niece, Joy Steiner of Birmingham. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Methodist Hospital and the ministry at Messiah Methodist Church. Minnie will always be remembered for her southern charm and sense of humor. We'll all miss her many stories about life and family in South Georgia. The family will receive friends at Cornerstone Cooperative, 3790 Lawndale Lane in Plymouth from 2-4 pm on Friday, August 16th.
