Michael B. Evans Obituary

Evans Michael B. Evans, age 41, of Watertown, formerly of Minnetonka, went to meet Jesus on Wednesday, Feb. 26, after a 12-year battle with leukemia. Survived by grandmother, Virginia Evans; parents, Dale & Barbara Evans; brothers, Geoff Evans, Richard Evans & wife Olga; sisters, Karen Droen & husband Steve, Jennifer Petersen & husband Rob; and his very special "honey" Tammy Smith. Uncle "Mikey" will be dearly missed by his nieces & nephews, Holly, Ashley, Austin, Andrew, Jamie, Evan, Emily, Mitchell and Jacob; along with many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service 11 am Monday at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 Co Rd 6, Plymouth. Visitation Sunday, 5-8 pm at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata, and also one hour prior to service at church. Mike touched the hearts of many and will be missed, but never forgotten. Special thanks for the efforts and dedicated care provided by the staff at Ridgeview Medical Center and Station 20 at Abbott Northwestern, and an extra special thanks to Mike's doctor and friend, Dr. Mark Litzow, Mayo Clinic, Rochester.
