Evans Michael B. Evans, age 41, of Watertown, formerly of Minnetonka, went to meet Jesus on Wednesday, Feb. 26, after a 12-year battle with leukemia. Survived by grandmother, Virginia Evans; parents, Dale & Barbara Evans; brothers, Geoff Evans, Richard Evans & wife Olga; sisters, Karen Droen & husband Steve, Jennifer Petersen & husband Rob; and his very special "honey" Tammy Smith. Uncle "Mikey" will be dearly missed by his nieces & nephews, Holly, Ashley, Austin, Andrew, Jamie, Evan, Emily, Mitchell and Jacob; along with many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service 11 am Monday at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 Co Rd 6, Plymouth. Visitation Sunday, 5-8 pm at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata, and also one hour prior to service at church. Mike touched the hearts of many and will be missed, but never forgotten.
