Strohm Michael August, 47, of Minneapolis, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in his home. He was born on May 23, 1955 to Jack and Jean (Klein) Strohm in Milwaukee, WI. Michael was the representative of the Jordan District of Minneapolis, the director of the Minneapolis CDA, was an artist, violin maker, performing musician, and composer of contemporary and classical music. He is survived by his parents, Jean and Jack; brothers and sisters, Susan (Patrick Parsons) Strohm, James (Leslie) Strohm, Jenifer Denly and William (Marta) Strohm; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Ezra, Justin, Maya, Jessica, and Jackson; many aunts, uncles and special friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 17 at 10:30 AM in St. Victoria Catholic Church, 8228 Victoria Dr., Victoria with Fr. Jim Livingston and Fr. Robert White officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 16 from 3-6 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 520 2nd St., Excelsior, and from 9:30-10:30 AM Monday at the church. Interment in St. Victoria Cemetery.
