Thielges, Michael John Of Eden Prairie passed away unexpectedly 1-29-23 at his residence. Mike is survived by his wife Irene; sisters, Theresa (Jeff), Betty (Vern) and Dorothy; brother-in-law John van Hook; sisters-in-law Kathleen Kelly and Mary Peters; grandson Jarratt Enos (Nicole) and Jarratt's dad Greg Enos (Jory); also many wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Peter and Mary, sisters Marcia and Mary, brothers Jim and Chuck, his step-daughter Molly Niccum Enos, and in-laws Ann & Henry Broker. Mike was born 12-20-1950 in IL but grew up in MN. He attended St. Bart's in Wayzata for 8 years where he first met Irene. He graduated from Wayzata High School and then joined the Army and served his country. He spent many years in the liquor industry and then in retail at Ace Hardware in Chanhassen. Memorial service Friday, February 10th at St. Hubert's, 8201 Main St, Chanhassen. Visitation at 10, Mass at 11, with luncheon to follow.
