Middents Melvin H., 78, passed away March 15, 2002 in Rio Verde, AZ. He was born in Kamrar, Iowa on Dec. 3, 1923. He retired from Cargill, Inc. as a Sr. VP in the Commodities division, after 36 years. WWII veteran, U.S. Air Force. Survived by loving wife, Berdella, of 53 years; daughters, Peggy Pettit (Paul), Aberdeen, SD, Cynthia Middents-Valliere (Michael) Lake Forest, IL; grandchildren, Brooks & Megan Pettit, Jessica & Joshua Valliere; sister, Marjorie Rickard; brother, Gerald Middents. Memorial service Mar. 21, 2002, 3 pm at Rio Verde Community Church. Contributions to the church, or Sunshine Acres Children's Home.
