Kellogg Mayo E., 66, of Junius, SD, internationally-known Labrador breeder and trainer, died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at his residence of natural causes. Mayo Edward Kellogg was born April 24, 1937 at Madison, SD to Lynn and Goldie (Ness) Kellogg. He was the 3rd generation to continue the family business, Kellogg's Kennels at Junius, SD. He authored many articles on raising and training Labs and was the dog editor for "Ducks Unlimited" magazine. Survivors include his son, Hugh (Kris) Kellogg of Madison, SD; 1 granddaughter, 1 great-granddaughter; 1 brother, Paul Kellogg of Omaha, NE. Services will be Sat., July 19, 2003, at 11 AM, Trinity Lutheran Church, Madison. Burial with military honors will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
