May Skarsten Obituary
Skarsten May Skarsten, age 97 of Edina, passed away September 1, 2002. She was born in 1905 in Warsaw, Poland, one of six children. She was 15 when she came to America with her 17 year old sister in 1920. Loving survivors include husband, Harry Skarsten; daughter & son-in-law, Eileen & Charles Nelmark; granddaughter, Naomi Nelmark; and nieces and nephews. Harry & May were married Sept. 16, 1930. May worked for many years at Schlampps' & Albrecht Furs, and the Veterans Hospital. Funeral service Wednesday 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Werness Brothers Chapel, 3500 W. 50th St. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Werness Brothers 612-927-8641
