Carr Max (Ruth Maxine), 79, died peacefully at home on March 23rd. Despite the pain and agony caused by cancer, her wit and sense of humor prevailed. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Tomaschewski Froiland & Pete, of Apple Valley, MN, Becky Williams of Raleigh, NC; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by other caring relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husbands, Ralph LaVelle and Nylo Carr; parents, Harley & Eva Hills; sister, Evelyn Johnson; brother, Howard Hills; niece, Martha Maxine Johnson; son-in-law, Karl H. Tomaschewski. Private memorial service will be held at a later date. If so desired, memorials may be directed to Fairview Hospice. Cremation Society of MN 612-825-2435
