Luthey Mavis Joy Haiker Luthey, January 27, 1926 to May 20, 2003. "The world has lost a wonderful person but Heaven has gained one great soul" Mavis passed on peacefully in her home mid morning with her family at her bedside. We will miss you so. Mavis is survived by her daughter, Robin Newland & her husband Jeff of Albuquerque, NM; her daughter, Cindy Ferrara of Brooklyn, NY; her daughter, Kayle Luthey of Chicago, IL; her son, Tadd Luthey of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Teal & Max Newland of New York City, NY; her sister-in-law, Betty Haiker of Albuquerque, NM; and her brothers, Dick & Dave Haiker of CA; as well as her beloved Welsh Terrier "Locker". She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Luthey; and her brother, Bob Haiker.
