Andersen Matthew Finn Andersen, age 34, of Monticello, died suddenly from an apparent heart attack on 9-11-05. Matthew lived most of his life in Monticello, where he graduated from high school in 1989. He enjoyed swimming, sports, being outdoors, hunting, snowmobiling, cars, and spending time with family and friends. He was united in marriage to Barbara Vizenor on Aug 21, 2004. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, David Andersen; and grandparents, Finn Heimdahl, Louis and Margaret Andersen. Matthew was a beloved son and devoted husband. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vizenor; step sons, Daniel and Michael Snodgrass; mother, Shelley (Gary) Grant of Havre, MT; brothers, Joel (Dani) Andersen and their children, Taylor and Logan of Becker, Jon (Beth) Andersen and their children Jennifer and Jared of Walker, MN, Michael Andersen and his son Tadashi of Bemidji, MN; and grandmother Alice Heimdahl of Havre, MT. Funeral services will be Thursday Sept 15, 2005 11:00 AM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral chapel.
