Merlin Mary Thomas Wilkins Merlin died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002 at 74 years of age. She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge William Merlin and her son, William L. Merlin, M.D. She is survived by her siblings, Nancy (Bill) Cook, James D. (Donna) Wilkins III; sister-in-law, Shirley West; and daughters, Amanda Merlin-Molstad, Carol Merlin, Daryl Merlin, Ellen (James Leuthner) Merlin; daughter-in-law, Mary E. Merlin; grandchildren, Mackenzie & Mikaela Merlin and Zoe Leuthner. Mary Merlin taught at Anoka Ramsey Community College until her retirement. She also taught in Saudi Arabia for five years. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002 at 4 pm at Unity Church - Unitarian, Portland Ave & Grotto St. in St. Paul. Parking is available at Portland & St. Albans. Memorials are preferred to Hennepin County Humane Society, Anoka Ramsey Community College Scholarship Fund, and the Jewish Community Center of St. Paul Child Care Scholarship Fund.
