Hanson Mary P., age 75, of Eden Prairie, passed away January 24, 2003. Preceded in death by her parents Philip and Julia (Krempel) Petrie and two brothers (Walter and Otto) and a Twin sister (Anne). Mary was a founder of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and active in many of its activities. She was also the first elected President of the Eden Prairie Lioness Club. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend - her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. Survived by husband, Robert W.; son, Alan (Karen); daughter, Julie (Cletis) Hoffer; granddaughters, Alisa Hanson, Jacqueline, Laura and Alexa Hoffer; sister, Rose (Leslie) Swan; two nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Funeral service Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 10:30 AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1 mile west of 494 along St. Hwy 5, Eden Prairie. Visitation Monday 5-7 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie and from 9:30-10:30 AM on Tuesday at the church.
