Mary Lee Knox Obituary

Knox Mary Lee, of St. Paul, age 79, on January 4, 2003. Member of Nativity Chapter of Lay Carmelites. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Taylor; brother, Richard C. Taylor; aunt, Helen Maguire; and mother-in-law, Margaret Knox. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, John; children, Michael, Helen and Paul; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael Jr., Peter, Chris and Katie; 1 great-granddaughter; step-grandchildren, Denise, Tara and Rachel; sister-in-law, Pat Taylor; brothers-in-law, Frank (Chris) and Robert (Barbara) Knox. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, and relatives. Special thanks to all of Mary Lee's caregivers, Eucharistic Ministers, friends and neighbors who supported her during her illness. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (Stanford at Prior Ave's., St. Paul). Visitation 4-8 PM TODAY at the O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul), and 1/2 hour prior to Mass at church Wednesday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Joseph's Academy Alumni Scholarship Fund.
