Karl Mary F. (Scheffler), age 88, of Mala Strana Health Care Center, New Prague, formerly of Shakopee. Born 02/12/1915 in Helena Township, Scott County. Preceded in death by husband, Elmer F. Karl; parents, George Scheffler & Anna (Jacques); her brother, Edward and her sister, Florence (McCarthy). She is survived by son, Dallas & wife Carol of Apple Valley; daughter, Janice Kaufenberg & husband Michael of New Market; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Alton, Joseph, Leo, Ralph, Matthew and sisters, Louise Jaruszewski, Margaret Stans, Mildred Hauer and Sister Mary Lucy, OSF. Mary was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #2, St. Francis Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, the Catholic Aid Society, and St. Mark's Council of Catholic Women. Mary and Elmer were lifetime residents of Shakopee and members of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Shakopee. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 10:30 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Interment Catholic Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 4-8 PM at the Cavanaugh-McNearney Funeral Home, 1220 E. Third Ave., Shakopee. St. Mark's Council of Catholic Women Rosary 4:30 PM Friday.
