Hanson Mary Alice (nee Laughton), age 77, passed away on June 9, 2002 at the Charles County Nursing Home in La Plata, MD as the result of complications following several strokes. She was born January 13, 1925 in St. Cloud, MN to Herman and Ivah Laughton. She was a graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School, class of 1943 and spent most of her adult life in banking pursuits in Minneapolis. The widow of Orvin Hanson (MPLS Police Force), she is survived by her brother, Robert Laughton; sister-in-law, Katharine Laughton, both of Hughesville, MD; several cousins, 5 nieces and nephews, 6 grandnieces and nephews and a great-grandniece. A graveside memorial service at Acacia Cemetery, Clearwater, MN is planned for a later date.
