Stock (Mathewson) Mary, of Wayzata, passed away March 12, 2003 at age 85. She attended West High School and graduated from Derham Hall, attended University of Minnesota where she was a sister of the Alpha Phi Sorority. Mary was a longtime employee of Marsh and McLennan Companies and William M. Mercer Co. Preceded in death by her husband, Philip; brother & sister-in-law, Clarence & Phyllis Mathewson; brother-in-law, John Chaney. She is loved and will be deeply missed by her son, Rob Stock; sister, Grace Chaney; brother & sister-in-law, Donald & Barbara Mathewson; her dear friend, Mary Colwell; many nieces, nephews, friends and Izod. Mass of Christian Burial 2 PM Saturday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Wayzata with reception to follow. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church. Graveside service 9:30 AM Monday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (meet at assembly # 5). In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart Association or Catholic Charities.
