Hammel Martha Jean, age 66, of St. Louis Park, on Nov. 24, after a long battle with leukemia, with family members and friends at her bedside. Jean was born on Oct. 5, 1936 in Waterloo, IA to Raymond & Nell Addington. She worked as a frame technician for US West for 38 years, retiring in 1997, and she was a member of the Elks Lodge of Hopkins. Jean will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 42 years, Mike; son, Scott (Lynda); several grandchildren; sister, Betty Krause; brother, Robert Addington (Marie); brothers-in-law, Willard (Dolores), Bill (Bonnie) and Fred; nieces, nephews; cats, Tom & Daisy; special friend, Marge Thompson and many other family members & friends. Memorial service 11 am Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, Wooddale at Excelsior Blvd. Friends may call 1/2 hour before service. Private interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
