Westphal Martha A., age 92, of First Christian Church Residence, Mpls. Died July 6, 2002 of pneumonia and Alzheimer's Disease. Survived by sons, Warren (Karen) and Stanley (Barb); granddaughters, Valerie, Susan, Kathy, Diana, and Cindy; 4 great-grandchildren. Martha was born to German immigrants who settled on an Iowa farm before cars and electricity. Mother and Grandmother was a hardworking, gentle soul who loved her family, volunteered, and at the end, appreciated Sesame Street, children, and a friendly smile. We miss her, but now she is whole and with God. Memorial Service 11 am Fri at First Christian Church Residence, 2300 Stevens Ave. So., Mpls. Memorials to First Christian Church Residence.
