Savaloja Mark Allan Savaloja, age 45, of Deerwood, died on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003 at his home. He was born on May 29, 1957 in Wadena to Harold and Shirley (Erckenbrack) Savaloja. He was a member of the Labor International Union of North America Local 563. He is survived by his parents; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Robin Anderson of Deerwood and Jeremy Savaloja of Baxter; 2 brothers, John (Ginny) Savaloja of Crosby and Bruce Savaloja of Baxter; 3 sisters, Linda Leonard of Deerwood, Cathy (John) Vidmar of Buffalo and Peggy (Dale) Rosier of Grand Rapids; 1 grandchild, Haylie Anderson; 12 nieces & nephews; special friends, Kathy Bailey of Aitkin and Warren Hoekstra of Deerwood. Preceded in death by brother, Terry. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby, with Rev. Wayne Skog officiating. Burial will be at the Deerwood Scandia Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at the Koop Funeral Home, and 1 hour prior to services on Friday.
