Marion Kemerer Obituary
Kemerer Marion, age 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 29. Appointed as one of the youngest music instructors, Marion served on the faculty of MacPhail School of Music from 1928-1944. Throughout her life she was prominent in the Minneapolis area in music and a number of musical associations including Mu Phi Epsilon and the Thursday Musical. Marion was also a member of Hennepin Avenue Methodist Church and the Woman's Club of Minneapolis for many years. Marion is survived by her sons, Frank of Denton, Texas, and Rick of Toronto, Canada, their wives, Barbie and Aileen, and four grandchildren, Adam, Anne, Lisa, and Jenny. Memorial service to be held Sat., Feb. 9 at 2 PM at MN Masonic Home Chapel, 11501 Masonic Home Drive, Bloomington. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
