Hunter Marie Haldenwang Goodwin Hunter age 76 of Lexington, VA, formerly of Plymouth, MN, died Sat. Jan. 12, 2002. Born Jan. 6, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late William John Haldenwang and Hedwig Schellhorn Haldenwang, and the step-daughter of the late Patience Rebele Haldenwang. She attended Green Mountain College and graduated from Hope College in Holland, MI. After moving to Lexington in 1987, she was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church, the Lexington Women's Club, The Book Club and P.E.O. Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ralph Cleveland Goodwin and William Everett Hunter. Surviving are her 2 children, Heather Goodwin Palframan of Middletown, NJ and Scott Goodwin-Johansson of Pittsboro, NC; 6 grandchildren, David, Mark & Kristen Palframan, Reed, Annika & Lucy Goodwin-Johansson.
