Peterson Marie H., age 100, went to be with her Lord on June 13, 2002. A lifelong member of Trinity Baptist Church, Marie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Marie is survived by her only son, Kenneth L. Larson (Patricia) of Alamo, CA; grandsons, Jeffrey (Deborah) of Mpls., David and John (Patti) of CA; granddaughter, Julie (Dan) McIntyre of CA; and step-granddaughter, Cindy (Garry) Endres of Hampton, MN. Marie is also survived by great-grandchildren, Steven, Bonnie, Kyle and Hannah; and by a step-son, Larry (Gloria) and step-daughter, Joyce (Russ) from her marriage to the late August Peterson. Marie was born on June 26, 1901 to parents, Victor & Olivia and had 2 brothers, Henry & Hugo and 2 sisters, Alice & Hulda, all preceding her in death. Throughout her life, Marie found great joy in worship and fellowship at her church. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining in her home, traveling and visiting with friends and family. Marie was a beautiful everlasting flower in God's garden. Her family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Alterra Assisted Living in Inver Grove Heights for their loving care over the past three years and the Hospice Unit of HealthEast for making the later days of her life so special and comforting. Special thanks also extended to her Trinity Church friends who were always nearby to help. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 AM at TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2220 Edgerton St. at Hwy. 36. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
