Ochocki Marie C. Ochocki (Fernkes), age 83 of Minnetonka, passed away in peace July 19, 2003 at Methodist Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bird Island, MN to Lena & Frank Fernkes. She graduated from St. Catherine's School of Nursing. She was a veteran of the AF Nurses Corp, served as an RN in various hospitals and for 15 years at Oak Terrace Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Cecilia Wilson, Gloria Newberger; and brothers, August and Frances (Fritz). Lovingly survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry; daughters, Carol Robinson, Mary Jo (Jim) DuGranrut; and sons, Daniel (Vicki), Thomas (Kim); several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Lorraine (John) Ashbaugh; brother, Robert (Lois) Fernkes; sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Mary. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and made everyone around her feel loved and cared for. Family visitation will be 1 hour prior to Memorial Mass on Thursday at 11am at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 13505 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka.
