Holt Marian Amelia, age 77 of Parkers Prairie, MN, died on 10/08/02. Survived by husband of 58 years, Douglas; also survived by 2 sons, John (Karin) of Parkers Prairie, Charles (Bonnie) of Inver Grove Heights; 2 grandchildren, Paula Gieck of Colorado Springs CO, Kristina Herrington of Nashville, TN; 5 great-grandchildren, Morgan Gieck, Brittany, Kirstin, Ryan, and Tory Herrington; 2 brothers, Paul (Jean) Gilbertson of Spring Lake Park, Donald (Brunelle) Gilbertson of Monticello. Marian was preceded in death by grandson, Robert Holt; 2 brothers, Maurice and Russell Gilbertson; 1 sister, Helen Disch; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Marian was a victim of Multiple Sclerosis for most of her adult life and adjusted courageously to the limitations it placed on her. All who knew her will remember her cheerful spirit and compassionate understanding. No service will be held. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Cremation Society of MN 612-825-2435
