Rieger, Marguerite Josephine (Monnie) Surrounded by family, Marguerite (Monnie) Gannon Rieger died peacefully in South Mpls on Oct. 15, 2019. Monnie put her faith & family first. Ever the loyal friend & social butterfly she lived by her daily mantra, "When they say go, go!" Indeed, she enthusiastically embarked on her last outing - to meet her very best friend, the Blessed Mother. Monnie is preceded in death by husband Donald Rieger, parents Joe & Marg Gannon, bros. Rich, Mick & Terry. Survived by children Mark (Katie) Rieger, Peg (Tom) Pederson, Matt (Dorie) Rieger, Mary Jo Rieger; grandchildren: Amy, Kristin, Kelly, Patricia, Michael, Marybeth, Mark, Rose, Luke, Laura, Aaron & Patrick; Great Grandchildren: Noah, Gannon, Lily, Holden, Annika & Emmett. Visitation 3-6pm Sunday, October 27th at Washburn-McReavy Nokomis Park Chapel, 1838 East Minnehaha Pkwy, Mpls. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday October 28th with visitation beginning at 9:30am at the Church of the Incarnation, 3817 Pleasant Ave. South, Mpls. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
