Meuwissen, Marcus age 80, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on September 30. A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, with visitation held one hour prior to the service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton. Marcus is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Paul (Kimberly) and their children, Matt, Mari; David (Janice) and their children, Lynn (Adam), Nikki (special friend, Kevin), Jenny; Mark (Karen) and their children, Beth, Jacob, & Ryan; Daniel (special friend, Sue Kelley) and his children, Alex, Amy; and one sister, Rosie (Bob) Geyen. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Willis. Marcus was a teacher and coach with the Fridley School District for 33 years. Miller Funeral Home 763-571-1300
