Digaetano Mae J., age 86, of No. St . Paul passed away April 7, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, John; son, Larry; infant grandson, James; parents, Thomas & Clara O'Leary; three sisters and four brothers. Beloved mother of John (Judy) of White Bear Lake, Mary Probst (Paul) of Woodbury; grandma of Tony Digaetano (Pamela), Jina Digaetano, Eric Hogendorf and Matthew Hogendorf; also nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends, especially Shirley Smith. Following the death of her husband in 1970, Mae devoted her life to caring for her grandchildren and also selling Avon. She also belonged to the Goldenaires (St. Paul Priory) and worked for R.S.V.P., where she made lap robes for nursing homes and teddy bears for the No. St. Paul Police Department. Service Friday, 10:30am, at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 7th Ave at Charles Street, No. St. Paul. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-7pm, and 1/2 hour before service Friday.
