Kargel Lydia C., age 85, of Mpls, passed away on May 16, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Edward; son, Darrell; great-granddaughter, Amanda. Survived by daughter, Merna (Sylvester) Fjelstad; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Thompson; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation 5-8 pm Sunday at Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel, Lowry at Irving Aves N., Mpls. Funeral service 11 am Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4201 Regent Ave N., Robbinsdale (763-533-2564), with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
