Lumina A. (DeMars) Butau Obituary
Butau Lumina A. "Lu" (nee DeMars), age 50, of Mpls, formerly of Elk River, died June 3, 2003. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ike & Joe. Survived by her husband, Edward; loving daughters, Holli (Clayton Ternes) and Heidi Butau; grandchildren, Jacey, Christian, Willow and Grace; special friend, Richard Spensley. Also survived by brothers, Robert & Leo DeMars and sister, Margaret (Gary) Weber and a nephew, nieces, cousins, and friends. "We will miss your intoxicating laugh and the joy you brought to our lives." A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Lu's life will be held 11 AM Sat. at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St., Elk River, 763-441-1212. Interment, St. Andrew's Cemetery, Elk River. Memorials preferred.
