Hale Lucius Melvin Luke, age 89, Palmyra, Virginia, on Saturday, August 3, 2002, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Reston, VA. Beloved husband of Lorraine Arnold Hale, formerly of St. Paul, MN; devoted father of Joyce Maxwell of Afton, MN and Kathryn Schaffer of Great Falls, VA; grandfather of Mark Maxwell, Hugo, MN, Michael Wolowicz, Anoka MN, Brian Wolowicz, Woodbury, MN, Robert and Ryan Schaffer, Great Falls, VA, and great-grandfather of Jeffrey, Dustin, Luke and Molly. He was lovingly laid to rest in Monticello Memory Gardens, Palmyra, Virginia, on August 7, 2002. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Oakdale Minnesota Stake, Oakdale, MN.
