Jones Lowell F., age 81, of New Orleans, LA, formerly Mpls., MN, died 11/30/01. Preceded in death by parents, Hazel & Noble Jones. Survived by wife, Donabeth, New Orleans; sons, Kent (Mary Arnold), Santa Fe, NM, Bruce (Dee Marks), Mpls., and Lowell D. (Linda), Greenwich, CT; granddaughters, Autumn Oh, Ingrid and Annika Jones, and brother-in-law Wally (Dee) Johnson. Born February 17, 1920, graduate of West High, Mpls., 1938, University of Minnesota, 1942 (edited Minnesota Daily), and Harvard Graduate School of Business,1943. Served U.S. Navy in WWII. President of Jones Press and Style Line Greetings, and with Donabeth operated Hungry Artist Studio. Elder, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Mpls. Lowell was known for his independent spirit and love of life.
