Syrstad Lorraine J. Syrstad age 79 of Maplewood, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer on March 29, 2003. Preceded in death by half-brother, Lester McNellis and infant grandson, Brad Thomas Syrstad. Survived by husband of 60 years and 1 month, Morris Sr.; children, Sherry (Bill) Bauer, Laura (Ed) Bauer, Moe (Carla), Cindy (Andy) Piccione, Tom (LeAnne) and Julie (Dan) Skalko; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerry Cardinal and many other relatives and friends. Also survived by special friends, Jan & Dick and the Spin Chain Gang. Funeral leaving from MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale at County Rd B on Wednesday, April 2 at 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial at MATERNITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1414 N. Dale St., St Paul at 10am. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
