Eifert Lorraine A., age 89, of Bloomington, on November 6, 2002. Preceded in death by husband of 40 years, Ret. Lt. Col. Sylvester J. (Jack); infant daughter, Bonnie Eileen; brother, Francis Wrabek; and sister, Edna Ring. Survived by daughters, Cheryl (David) Hatfield and Diane (Terry) Weber; grandchildren, Jodi (Tim) Ertmer, Mark (Rona) Krenik, Angela (Bruce) Boelter and Allison Weber. Lorraine was a country school teacher in rural Minnesota until she married Jack. During Jack's military career, they were stationed in numerous locations including the Philippines, Newfoundland and Japan. When they retired, they settled in Lorraine's hometown of LeCenter until 1967 when they moved to Jack's hometown, Perham. Lorraine was an avid volunteer in her church and community. Visitation Thursday (TODAY) 4-8 PM at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM NORTH CHAPEL, 515 Hwy. 96 at Mackubin, Shoreview. Interment Friday 10 AM in Fort Snelling (meet at Assembly Lane #1 off 34th Ave). Memorial service 2 PM Friday at MN Masonic Home Chapel, 11501 Masonic Home Dr., Bloomington. 651-482-7606
