Simmons Lisa Lanette Strong Simmons, age 40, passed away Dec. 10, 2001. Lisa worked tirelessly to help others and touched the lives of countless children during her career as a Special Education teacher. Although Lisa will be greatly missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, David; her parents, Nancy and David Strong; her sisters, Lori (Karl) Schneider and Lana (Richard) Branham; by her niece, nephews and many relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, 7 PM at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN, with a time for family and friends to remember Lisa from 6 to 7 PM. Memorials are requested in lieu of flowers.
