Hamilton Lila Marie, 83, of E. Elizabeth St., died Friday, May 2, 2003 in the Benedictine Health Center. She was born on June 24, 1919 in Mpls, MN to John & Anna (Carlson) Herberg. Lila has been a Duluth resident since 1994, and prior to this she lived in the Hackensack area for 14 years. Lila was a 1937 graduate of South High School in Mpls, MN. She married Clayton John Hamilton on September 2, 1939 in Mpls, MN. Lila is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton in 1994; brother, Waldo; sister, Jeanette; and a granddaughter, Anna Marie. She is survived by her son, Craig John (Laura) of Eagan, MN; a daughter, Linda M. (Robert) Senta of Duluth; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Lindsay, and Christian. Private funeral services will be held with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Longville, MN. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd St., Duluth.
