Vikla Lewis, age 93, of Wayzata, formerly of Lonsdale, MN, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Preceded in death by wife, Gertrude; parents, Catherine & John; brothers, Vendeline, Clement & Emmanuel. Survived by many loved relatives & friends, also special friend & helper, Susan. He was very active up to the time of his illness. He loved spending time with the children at Wayzata Beach, and sketching portraits of children brought him joy. He was an artist, poet and author, writing his memoirs with a gifted and superb memory with sharp details of his entire life. He will be sadly missed. Visitation 10- 11 AM Friday, July 18 at White Funeral Home, Lonsdale, with Memorial Service at 11 AM. Interment, National Czech. Cemetery.
