Auge Lester A. Jr., age 49 of St. Paul, on Sept. 13, 2002. Preceded in death by mother, Rose. Survived by daughter, Michelle; father, Lester Sr.; sister, Denise Johnson; nephew, Nathan Johnson; numerous relatives and friends. Les was a standout hockey player for Johnson H.S. achieving all city and all state honors as a defenseman. He started for 4 years with the University of Minnesota Gopher hockey team. In his Jr. year, he starred on the Gopher National Championship team. In his Sr. year he was honored as an All American. Following his U of M career, he became an Olympic and professional hockey player. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10 AM at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Kennard at Larpenteur. Visitation Tues. 4-8 PM at WULFF FAMILY SERVICES, CRESTWOOD PARK MORTUARY, 1485 White Bear Ave. and ½ hour prior to the service at church. Interment Union Cemetery. Wulff-Crestwood 651-776-1555

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
