Auge Lester A. Jr., age 49 of St. Paul, on Sept. 13, 2002. Preceded in death by mother, Rose. Survived by daughter, Michelle; father, Lester Sr.; sister, Denise Johnson; nephew, Nathan Johnson; numerous relatives and friends. Les was a standout hockey player for Johnson H.S. achieving all city and all state honors as a defenseman. He started for 4 years with the University of Minnesota Gopher hockey team. In his Jr. year, he starred on the Gopher National Championship team. In his Sr. year he was honored as an All American. Following his U of M career, he became an Olympic and professional hockey player. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10 AM at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Kennard at Larpenteur.
