Lewis Lenore M., age 93, of St. Therese Care Center, New Hope, passed away May 23, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Frederic; parents, Matt & Rose Scherber; brothers, Clem & Herbert Scherber. Survived by children, Mary Rose Biegert, Dolores (Joe) Berning, Dennis (Rita), David (Marie), Larry (Bonnie), Joe (Linda) Lewis, Luonne (Mike) Kennedy, Doug (Pat), Mike (Barb) and Greg (Martha) Lewis; also survived by 42 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin (Gertrude) Scherber; and many nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 28, 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N., Brooklyn Park. Visitation 5-8 PM Monday, with a Rosary at 5:30 PM and a prayer service at 7 PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 1st Ave E & 2nd St N in Osseo. Visitation also one hour prior to Mass at church.
