Laura was recognized for distinguished achievement in The World Who's Who of Women and was the former editor of The Richfield News. Preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by son Tim (Karen) Baker; grandchildren Laurie (Brad) Giesenhagen, Terri (Tim) Tischer, Tim (Tanya) Baker, and Michelle (David) Van der Vieren; great-grandchildren Erin, Michael, Amy, Brittany, Jennifer, Katelyn, Charley, Sam, Jack, Sabrina, Daniel, and Brianna; great-great-grandchildren Ariel and Austin.
