Baker Laura Nelson, age 92, of Apple Valley Health Care Center.She was a freelance writer who authored and coauthored over 30 published books and short stories. Laura was recognized for distinguished achievement in The World Who's Who of Women and was the former editor of The Richfield News. Preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by son Tim (Karen) Baker; grandchildren Laurie (Brad) Giesenhagen, Terri (Tim) Tischer, Tim (Tanya) Baker, and Michelle (David) Van der Vieren; great-grandchildren Erin, Michael, Amy, Brittany, Jennifer, Katelyn, Charley, Sam, Jack, Sabrina, Daniel, and Brianna; great-great-grandchildren Ariel and Austin.
