Sheppard Kevin George Sheppard, Chaska. Born 4/11/54, passed away 3/9/03 after a long battle with heart failure. Kevin was raised in South Minneapolis with many lifelong friends. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Arlene Sheppard, Mesa, AZ; father and wife, David and Joanie Sheppard, Scottsdale, AZ; loving partner, Nancy Nelson, Chaska, MN; children and stepchildren, Christopher, Nicholas and Sarah Sheppard, Jenny Nelson and special friend, James Vest; Andy and Emily Nelson. Also survived by former spouse and special friend, Mary Sheppard. Kevin is also survived by brothers, Steven, Dayton, MN; Gary and wife Maureen, Scottsdale, AZ; Tom, Denver, CO; Rick and wife Denise of Scottsdale, AZ; and many other relatives and friends who were a special part of his life. A celebration of his life will take place TODAY at Church of the Holy Name, 3637 11th Avenue South, Minneapolis. Service will be at 7:00 with visitation one hour prior and a gathering after the service. Interment will be private. Special thanks to the entire staff of Methodist Hospital, who had taken special care of Kevin during this past year. Heartfelt thanks for the Ladies of DOSA.
