Skrukrud Kathleen Kay Skrukrud, age 56, of Bloomington, passed away March 29, 2003 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Kathy was a 35 year employee of the U.S. Postal Service, Postal Data Center. She is preceded in death by her brother, Tom. She is survived by her parents, Harold and Muriel Skrukrud of Chapel view Care Center, Hopkins; brother, Perry (Cheri) of Edina; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and special friends. Her family would like to offer a special "thank you" to the nurses and staff at NC Little Memorial Hospice and Fairview Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral service 1 pm, Wednesday at Gill Brothers Bloomington Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Av. S. Visitation 5-8 pm Tuesday and 1 hour prior to service Wed. Interment Bloomington Cemetery.
