Helman Kathleen "Kas" B. Helman, age 65, of Bloomington, went to join her parents and sister, Carolyn Shanahan in Heaven on March 17, 2003 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Survived by loving husband of 46 years, Ron Helman; children, Pati (Derek) Harrell, Steve (Darlene) Helman, Tom (Christie) Helman; grandchildren, Jamie, Jeremy, Joshua, Cassie, Michaela, Niki, Danielle, Melissa, Candace, Kyle and Kelsey; best friend, Sandy (Mel) Logan; and many loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Thursday at the Church of the Assumption, 305 E. 77th St., Richfield. Visitation 5-8 pm Wednesday at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave S., and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Dawn Valley Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
