Baumgartner Katherine F., age 90, of Rosemount, on 2/13/2002 at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Katherine F. Casanova was born Jan. 19, 1912 in Hudson, WI to Joseph & Katherine (Karras) Casanova. She was a 1933 graduate of the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph. On July 22, 1940 she was married to Lambert G. Baumgartner in Hudson, WI. Katherine worked as an administrative assistant to her husband who was superintendent of schools, Rosemount District #196 from 1940-1958. After her husband passed away in 1958 she taught in the Rosemount School District from 1959 until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she was a member for 7 years, and sang in the church choir 40 years. Katherine was also a lobbyist for MCCL for many years. She is survived by children, Mary Ann Baumgartner and Jerome (Susan) Baumgartner; 2 grandchildren, Tracy and Krista; also by other loving relatives and friends.
