DeSmet Karen Lee, born Oct. 13, 1943, passed away to begin her journey of everlasting peace on April 24, 2002 at HCMC following a hard fought battle with diabetes. Preceded in death by sister, Sandra J. DeSmet. Survived by loving mother, Doris Olson; sisters, Rochelle Sparks, Janice (Joel) Jacobs, Las Vegas, Barbara (Glen) Polsfuss; nephews, Jason, Henry, David; nieces, Kari, Amy; grand nieces, Isabelle & Theda; and many loved ones.
